about

I Love You For Your Mind is the debut album by The Bicycats, recorded and mixed over a single summer in a makeshift studio (basement) in Rochester, New York's 19th Ward. (Actually, two songs were recorded in Brooklyn, but let's pretend the whole thing was recorded in Rochester. Yep. Good old Rochester.) Resources were limited, but creativity ran amok. What transpired are eleven tracks of what Rochester City Paper (See? Good old Rochester.) called, "an absolutely brilliant outfit" of "pop music with doses of mania and a Young Fresh Fellow sense of unpretentious cool." And one of the songs has a flute solo.
